Print Story Dylan's first tooth fell out...

Such a life milestone! Not really anything more to say about it. Little boy, 7 years old, gappy smile. Looking forward like mad to seeing him and taking a few photos.

Not sure about the whole "Tooth Fairy" thing. I hate to lie to the children about make-believe stuff, but not playing along with the old myths seems like robbing them of some of the fun of their youth...

Dad came over last night for his birthday supper. I made some mean-ass homemade taco seasoning and we had some tacos that were rock awesome.

Dinner. Tomallica! Work.

Print Story Esoteric

I'm an atheist and have been one all my life. It's not a good idea to proselytise within hearing range of me because I most happily argue the subject and really need to figure out how to make that pay better.

I also learned long ago that, even if she's an atheist, if I want a companion sans Y-chromosome there's going to be some esoteric crap in the mix. I can live with it. But discussing it with me? No. Uh-uh. Very Bad Idea™. I'm more likely to let you bend me over the counter with a strap-on but to edit and post the video to YouPorn than put up with such a conversation.

Poll: name my potential/hypothetical offspring

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who chimed in on my diary yesterday.

Being able to get some stuff off my chest and then get insightful, helpful and compassionate feedback lickety-split is pretty damn fine, and serves as a great example of why public diary wheels like HuSi rock (even if some of us have trouble find the time to take advantage of it as often as they'd like).

So after the dust settles, we're right back to a Tory minority.

Calling that election was TOTALLY worth it.
